My camera comes with me almost everywhere, it has almost replaced notebooks now. I thought perhaps I’d try to post a photo – sometimes old, sometimes new, every week (or approximately every week…) – showing you the latest plant that has caught my attention.
There’ll be minimal text because I can’t do a major blogpost every week – but that’s not such a bad thing, is it!
Anyway, today I went to Borde Hill Gardens in Sussex for the RHS Terrific Trees event. I hope to do a proper blog post about it soon but meanwhile here’s Magnolia ‘Black Tulip’ looking succulent (blackcurrant is the flavour my intermittent synaesthesia gave me):
Lovely photo…Shall look forward to your missives. Know what you mean about the ubiquitous camera, and the challenge of regularly posting for one’s blog, especially at this time of year…@worn2afrazzle

Thanks Jo, I have so many photos to share but it takes ages to do a more in-depth post with multiple photos, so at least if I can post one or two pics a week (and try to make them relevant to the time of year) I can share a few more. It’s a waste to sit on them! And yes, spring is finally here so I’m only indoors if the weather is really foul…

I’m just the same. I feel rather naked without a camera or my phone at the very least. Those long posts take it out of you but are worth it when they are finished! Gorgeous magnolia.

Thanks Dan, yes I feel distinctly underdressed without camera or indeed secateurs. I have lots of topics for longer posts stacked up but life keeps getting in the way!
